You need a higher level character to apply some of the enchants onto your gear. This guide is updated for 5.4 and I would like to give some credit to Silinrul for her thread which helped me with the tooltips of the enchants. The reason the tooltip on Wowhead says different, is because only enchanters will be able to loot the formulas, thus the percentage of people looting the actual formula is really low. Because of the new scaling system impemented in 5.4, the enchants scale differently for characters above level 60.Īs 4.3 many of the enchanting formulas that drop from certain mobs in instances, have had their drop chance increased to a 100%.
